HBAA seeks Agent of the Year in new annual award category

The HBAA is asking corporate bookers and buyers of meeting and accommodation to vote for their hotel booking agent of the year. 

The HBAA, recognised as the UK’s lead association for hotel booking agencies, has added the category to its awards which recognise excellence and the promotion of best practice in the hotel booking agency sector.  The Agent of the Year Award can be voted online by bona fide corporates who are involved in organising and purchasing accommodation, meetings and events: 
 
 
The winning agency will be announced at the HBAA Annual Forum being held at the Holiday Inn Stratford upon-Avon, 8th-9th September.  
 
HBAA 2010 Award categories:
  • Agent of the Year, will be voted for by corporate clients and will recognise agency excellence.  
  • Training & Development Award; a demonstration of agents’, hotels’ or venues’ commitment to the training and development of staff at every level of the organisation.
  • Promoting Excellence within the Industry Award; recognises companies who have delivered excellence to their clients by means of a new product or service.
  • Best Demonstration of CSR Award, is open to organisations who can demonstrate a clear CSR policy and its long term effects on customers, investors, employees, suppliers, communities, regulators, special interest groups and society as a whole.

  • The Hotel Booking Agents Association (HBAA) was formed in 1997 and now consists of more than 79 Members and 194 Partners. The association has an annual buying power in excess of £4.7bn.
